Yes. Heartbeat has built-in connections to Alpha Vantage (stocks, crypto, forex), FRED (U.S. economic data), World Bank (global indicators), and Our World in Data (health, energy, demographics). Fetch data directly inside the editor, no manual download needed. Some sources require a free API key.

Use the download (↓) button in the toolbar to save your current config as a .json file. To reload it later, click the upload button and select your saved file. Your data, colors, fonts, and all settings are preserved.
